Emotional object

EMOTIONAL OBJECT é um jogo multi-user que convida os visitantes a interagir com uma mecano-escultura e uma composição musical mediante um interface digital. O jogador especula sobre que emoção resultará de uma determinada acção, e que efeito terão as suas escolhas individuais sobre o colectivo. O objecto - físico e virtual - roda como um pião de criança e divide-se em secções que correspondem a 24 estados emocionais representados por cores e sons. O objectivo é mantê-lo em equilíbrio flutuante, enquanto se passa pelas diversas emoções deixando pesos pelo caminho. Se a inclinação for demasiada, começa um novo jogo.
EMOTIONAL OBJECT is a multi-user game that invites visitors to interact with a mecano-sculpture and a sound composition through a digital interface. The player speculates about which emotion will result from a determined action, and about the effect of the individual over the collective. Rotating like a child's spinning top, the object, both physical and virtual, is divided in sections mapped onto 24 emotional states represented by colors and sounds . The goal is to keep it in floating balance while passing through the various emotions, leaving weights behind. Should it lean too far, a new game will begin.
